The Board of Governors fosters the development and prosperity of Amity International School Abu Dhabi.

They ensure strong strategic leadership that results in accountability, oversight and assurance of overall school success and performance, in line with the UAE National Agenda and regulatory guidelines.

The Board of Governors is served by sub-committees for Education and Pastoral Care, Finance and People Governance with Health and Safety at the forefront of operations and planning. Board meetings with the school’s senior leadership team are scheduled and conducted every term. Sub-committees meet throughout the year to cover key points and agendas. These often include teacher and parent representation.

Leading the Governing Body of Amity International School, Abu Dhabi are Chairman of the Board, Dr. Vajahat Hussain, CEO, Amity Education Group, Middle East and Deputy Chair, His Excellency Dr. Saif Al Seiari, Senior Advisor, Executive Council of Abu Dhabi and Former Director-General of Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority.
