Unlock your child’s passion for sailing

We offer all our students from Key Stage 2 (7 years old) and upwards the unique opportunity to go sailing as part of their academic timetable. Students take part in six double periods in their academic timetable.

During the first year students learn about the parts of a boat, how to steer a dinghy and what to do in the event of a capsize. After their initial sessions we look at sailing upwind and downwind cumulating into a triangle course.

We have achieved excellent safety standards by the UK Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK).

We are the only water sports centre in the country that offers academic teaching with practical sailing in a school environment.

In addition to our facilities, we have a fantastic team of eager, experienced Royal Yacht Association instructors who is ready to help your child discover and explore their sailing talents.

Not only do we have our own safety policy. Not only do we have our own safety policy, we have achieved excellent safety standards by the UK Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK).

This is further supported by our highly qualified and experienced staff, as well as our
well-maintained Dinghies, Kayaks and SUPs. We also have RYA approved safety boats available for all water sessions. Two inspections are conducted every year to maintain high safety and academic standards from the RYA and ADEK respectively.

In fact, many regard this as the world standard of powerboating. During this course, you’ll learn boat handling and seamanship in a powerboat.
